Basketball
CYO basketball is a winter sport at Saint Charles. Each grade 5th through 8th typically has both a boys and girls team. Tryouts for basketball immediately follow the end of fall sports, usually around late October. Teams compete against other CYO schools, with 7th and 8th playing public middle schools as well. Each team’s season concludes in early to mid February with a CYO tournament. Teams also compete in smaller “holiday” tournaments, held during Christmas break.
