Parents who wish to enroll a child in PreK, kindergarten or transfer their children to St. Charles for grades 1-8, should phone the school office at 260-484-3392 to schedule an appointment for a tour and to register.

Please see the Admission Guidelines. At the time of registration please have the following: 
1. current list of the child's immunizations
2. a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee per child

If the student is transferring from another school, please bring the most current report card and ILEARN or other testing results.

When completing the online registration, you will need the following documents to upload:
1. copy of the child's birth certificate
2. copy of the child's baptismal certificate

Pre-K4 & Kindergarten Registration       
Our Kindergarten & Pre-Kindergarten registration day is Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Registration will be held in the afternoon from 1:15-2:30 p.m. in Rooms C & D of the Hession Center, or you may attend the evening session from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  All parents are asked to park in the rear of the school in the church parking lot and enter through door # 3 near the gym. If unable to attend, please call the school office (484-3392) to arrange for an alternate registration day.

Kindergarten: For this coming school year 2024-2025, we will be offering full-day Kindergarten with a classroom size limit of 23 students per class with an aide assisting the teacher.  Our school day runs from 7:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If needed, for an additional fee, BeforeCare and AfterCare service is available for all students.
The registration fee of $50 is included in the overall tuition costs and is not a required payment at this time. 

Pre-Kindergarten four-year-old Program:  We will be offering two sections of five-day Pre-Kindergarten classes (A.M., P.M., or Full-day). Our morning program will run from 7:50 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and our afternoon program will run from 11:50 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
A separate $50 Pre-K registration fee is required. 
Our January registration for our Kindergarten and Pre-K 4 Programs is early enough to ensure that parish families of St. Charles Borromeo have the first opportunity to register their children. Please bring to registration:
1. A copy of your child’s birth certificate and baptismal certificate even if baptized at St. Charles
2. A copy of your child's immunization record
3. The $50.00 nonrefundable registration fee (PreK)

Please Note: Parents of students entering grades 1-8 will need to contact the school office, 260-484-3392, and speak to our principal, Mr. Sordelet, BEFORE registering.

Some simple reminders when it comes to completing online registration:

  1. Make an account. ALL families will need to make an account first. One account per family. This account will work with all diocesan schools’ enrollment process.
  2. Work your way through the online form. Have your contact phone numbers and addresses handy! You will list any emergency contacts here. We do ask for 2-3 emergency contacts in case we can not reach you.
  3. You will need to scan and upload copies of your child’s birth certificate and baptismal certificate.
  4. Carefully, read the agreement at the end before giving your electronic signature.
  5. Be sure to click on the “Submit” button when done.
  6. You will receive an email from Power School verifying that the enrollment was submitted. Your application will not be considered complete until your FACTS payment plan for the upcoming school year has been selected.
  7. Information to register for FACTS will be emailed a few days after submitting your online registration.

Re-enrollment for K-7th grade students returning to St. Charles for 2023-2024

Look for an email from “registration@stcharlesschoolfw.org” sent Monday, January 15, 2024 to the email we currently have on file for you in PowerSchool. Please look at your inbox or search spam for it. Read through that email and use the link included in it to re-enroll your student. Complete by Friday, February 2, 2024.  Some simple reminders when it comes to completing online registration:

  1. Log into your PowerSchool Enrollment account: https://registration.powerschool.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=38520&culture=en
  2. Work your way through the online form. Have your contact phone numbers and addresses handy! You will list any emergency contacts here. We do ask for 2-3 emergency contacts in case we can not reach you.
  3. On the Emergency Contact Page, we recommend you begin by clicking on the “remove contact” button and start clean. When information was pulled from what was in PowerSchool, it populated incorrectly. This will eliminate some confusion for you when it comes to filling in the fields.
  4. Carefully, read the agreement at the end before giving your electronic signature.
  5. Be sure to click on the “Submit” button when done.
  6. You will receive an email from PowerSchool verifying that the enrollment was submitted. 
  7. If you have an additional St. Charles student re-enrolling, you will be given the opportunity at the end of the first re-enrollment form to add your additional student’s snapcode. (Sent in a separate email to you.)

This online process should take 15-20 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.

Tuition & Fees: FACTS Directions for Current School Families Re-enrolling for 2024-2025

A returning family with no new students to enroll:  Your work is done! Your existing FACTS account will automatically
rollover for the 2024-2025 school year keeping your same profile and payment selections as in the previous year. 
A returning family with new students to enroll:  You must sign in to your FACTS account and add any new students to your profile for the 2024-2025 school year.

A family new to St. Charles:  We have partnered with FACTS Management Company to help us manage our tuition payment program for 2024-2025.  Please register online with FACTS by Friday, March 15th.
There is no cost to create your FACTS account and select a payment plan. Simply visit our school website and locate the FACTS link, or go to https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3Y2X3
Once your new profile is created, make sure to select your payment plan for the 2024-2025 school year. Select a payment plan even if you are anticipating using a Choice Scholarship (Voucher) for next year.
FACTS CONFIRMATION NOTICE: Once your information is received and processed by FACTS, you will receive a confirmation notice. This notice will confirm your payment plan information. Please check this information for accuracy, and contact your school or FACTS with any discrepancies.
 

CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP Information

On March 1, 2024, St. Charles Borromeo School will conduct an Indiana Choice Scholarship Lottery for those students who have enrolled in our school and applied for an Indiana Choice Scholarship. After March 6, 2024, applications for further Indiana School Choice Scholarships will be relegated to a waiting list for any grade level that has full enrollment.
