Monday, February 21st - No School - eLearning Day Teacher Inservice [Diocesan Curriculum Day]
Dear Parents and Students - I hope you are well! With such a large school community, many of us will face family struggles from time to time. Please know, for those facing challenges, that you are in our daily prayers at school. Also, if you are struggling, please do not be afraid to ask the school or parish for help. At the least, we may be able to put you in contact with persons and resources that could help. Knowing that you are not alone is the first step. Thank you for sending your children to our school. Sincerely - Rob S.
1. Reminder, school is closed on Monday, February 21, 2022. This day has been scheduled for months as an eLearning Day. Teachers and administration will be working on our Diocesan Curriculum throughout the day.
2. Student eLearning work for Monday was posted on the school website this past Saturday. Hopefully, this has allowed students to get a jump on assignments this weekend and help to ease the load on Monday. Office hours for Teacher assistance will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
3. Reminder, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 will be an out of uniform day to assist with the celebration of ‘Two’s Day’ 2/22/22. Please no ripped or torn jeans. No sweatpants or joggers. Clean, neat, and modest. Enjoy the day.
RE-ENROLLMENT for next year 2022-2023 for all students currently in grades K-7
Please check for an email from “registration@stcharlesschoolfw.org” to the email we currently have on file for you in PowerSchool. Please look at your inbox or search your spam for it. Read through that email and use the link included in it to re-enroll your student. You will receive an email with a re-enrollment code (called a snap code) for each child you have at St. Charles. You must use each child’s unique snap code to re-enroll them for next year. Please complete NOW, 2022. Some simple reminders when it comes to completing online registration:
1. Make an account if you don’t already have one. One account per family. This account will work with all diocesan schools’ enrollment process. You will already have an account if you completed enrollment at Bishop Dwenger.
2. Work your way through the online form. Have your contact phone numbers and addresses handy! You will list any emergency contacts here. We do ask for 2-3 emergency contacts in the case we can not reach you.
3. On the Emergency Contact Page, we recommend you begin by clicking on the “remove contact” button and start clean. When information was pulled from what was in PowerSchool, it populated incorrectly. This will eliminate some confusion for you when it comes to filling in the fields.
4. Carefully, read the agreement at the end before giving your electronic signature.
5. Be sure to click on the “Submit” button when done.
6. You will receive an email from PowerSchool verifying that the enrollment was submitted. FACTS payment plans from last year have been rolled over. There is nothing you need to do for FACTS at this time.
7. If you have an additional St. Charles student re-enrolling, you will be given the opportunity at the end of the first re-enrollment form to add your additional student’s snapcode. (Sent in a separate email to you.)
This online process should take 15-20 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.
Please contact Pam Bojrab, 260-484-3392 or registration@stcharlesschoolfw.org, with any questions about online registration.
