Upcoming Schedule Changes
Monday, February 14th - One Hour Delay Students report to school by 8:50 a.m. [Diocesan Curriculum Time]
Monday, February 21st - No School - eLearning Day Teacher Inservice [Diocesan Curriculum Day]
Dear Parents and Students - Thank you for your understanding and patience over the past few weeks. We took some heavy Covid-19 hits after returning from Christmas Break, but thankfully our community illness is trending down and most quarantines and isolations will end early next week. Now that our families are beginning to regain their health, it is time to renew our focus on academics and spirituality as we begin a two-month drive of study and prayer. We will be cranking up the academics throughout the month of February, kickoff Lent with Ash Wednesday observance on March 2nd, take some time off for Spring Break beginning Friday, April 1st through Palm Sunday, April 10th, and then start school right back up with Holy Week and Easter Sunday on April 17th. Phew!
PreK and Kindergarten registration is now open, but space will become limited soon! We had a successful PreK and Kindergarten registration day this past Tuesday. Thank you to our parent volunteers for their leadership and to all of the families who have signed up. We do have spots remaining in both programs for future registration, but we are filling up very quickly. If you know of friends who may have interest, please invite them to contact the school and we will answer any questions they may have. Thank you.
We are in need of substitutes for Teacher maternity leaves in the coming months! As you may know from the local and national news, there is a shortage of Teachers at this time, however, we are blessed with Teachers expecting babies in the coming months. If you know of a recent education graduate, a newly retired teacher, or someone currently taking transition to teaching coursework, and he/she may be interested in subbing for a few months, please invite them to contact me via the school office. Thanks!
In closing I would ask for prayer for the following three intentions this week:
1. An end to the Pandemic/good health in our families, community, nation and around the world.
2. The overturning of Roe vs. Wade and safe travel for those attending the Right to Life rally this weekend.
3. Prayers for our President and all elected officials that they may have wisdom, humility, honesty, and listen to God’s will.
Thank you for selecting St. Charles for your children. So many gifts, so much faith, and so many good hearts! Sincerely - Rob S.

We are two short weeks away!
We hope everyone has their babysitters reserved and their outfits planned.
We still need a few volunteers; we need a couple of people to help check guests in (4:30-6:30) and a couple people to help with auction item check outs (9:30-11:30) at the end of the evening. To volunteer go to bidpal.net/borromeobash Go to the menu on the left side of the page and click BE A VOLUNTEER
Last day for ticket sales will be Tuesday, February 1st. We have a few tickets left and a couple of tables available.
No ticket refunds after January 25.
Exciting news: Silent auction items have been added to the website, check back every couple days to see new items added. As always there are some really great items!
