COVID IS OVER. TIME TO TAKE A BREATH, STEP OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE, CLEAN UP BEHAVIOR, & FINISH STRONG!

Dear Parents and Students - I hope you and your family are doing well.  Lent offers 40 days to reset ourselves and grow closer to God through prayer, helping others, and changing poor habits we may have developed.  Most of us set a few spiritual goals and work to give up or sacrifice in some areas of our lives.  We want to be kinder, more loving, sometimes healthier, and overall better people. Although we should be striving for holiness all of our days, realistically Lent is the catalyst we usually need to refocus and recommit. Just as we need a Lenten reset in our personal lives, I believe our school community of students, teachers, staff, parents, and administrators needs a reset throughout the building. We need to tighten up procedures, reestablish expectations, put in a full effort, show greater respect and consideration for one another, lift one another up in prayer, and finish the school year strong!
As we approach the two-year anniversary of shutting down our country due to Covid-19, it is time to take a breath and review where we are as a school community - as a group who strives to build a caring community, gives great effort, respects one another, and brings the light of Christ to one another through our words and actions. Frankly, we have work to do!
Thank you Faculty, Staff, Parents, and Students for your dedication to our Catholic Faith and your commitment to model respect, demonstrate self-discipline, and pursue holiness. I look forward to a strong finish to this school year and continued positive momentum into the 2022-2023 school year.  Immaculate Heart of Mary Pray for Us; Now and at the hour of our deaths. Amen.  Sincerely - Rob S.
