Tuition Changes for St. Charles & All Diocesan Schools
Moving from subsidized tuition to full-cost tuition while staying affordable - more details on pages 2-6
Dear Parents - In the week before Christmas, Bishop Rhoades initiated sweeping and immediate changes to the Diocesan tuition policies, the Diocesan Teacher salary scale (a long overdue increase), and Teacher tuition benefits affecting all 43 schools in our Diocese. These are positive and necessary changes for the long-term success of all our Catholic schools. I have created two documents entitled ‘Diocesan Policy Changes - Tuition’ and ‘Tuition Assistance & Scholarship Opportunities’ below that more thoroughly explain the tuition costs and the opportunities for financial assistance available to all families.
Approximately 75% of our students in grades K-8 qualify for, and utilize, the Indiana Choice Scholarship (Voucher). On pages 2-4 you will find examples of tuition estimates regarding families who utilize the Indiana Choice Scholarship.
FISH FRY!! St. Charles Parish Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Fish Fry on Friday, March 25, 4:30-7:00 pm, or until sold out . . Cost is $12.00 per meal (food and supply costs have increased). Only adult meals will be served and consist of: fish, potato wedge, cole slaw, tartar sauce, applesauce, dinner roll. Serving may end early if the supply is depleted.
This will be a Drive-Thru ONLY event. Please enter the parish campus at the Trier Road entrance next to the football field and follow the directions to cafeteria door #9 to pick up your meals and then exit onto Reed Road. Thank you.
YEARBOOK ORDERS
It is time to order your 2021-2022 St. Charles yearbook! All orders can be placed and paid for online this year by visiting www.inter-state.com/order and entering this code: 64574H. A yearbook flyer with this information was also sent home today with your student. Online ordering ends Monday, March 28th. No late orders will be accepted. The yearbooks cost $17.00 each. Yearbooks include the school photos of all students PK-8 as well as photos of school sports’ teams and various activities throughout the school year. These provide great memories of the students’ academic year at St. Charles!
