Dear Parents and Students - I hope you are well. We are anticipating 70 degree weather tomorrow, so enjoy the day, but be careful not to get sunburned while celebrating our first super warm day! We had two beautiful and well-attended Ash Wednesday Masses in the school gym/Church. It was great seeing young and old packed in and focused on becoming closer to God. As Fr. Tom shared, with the sign of ashes on our foreheads, Ash Wednesday is the one day that Catholics can be identified wherever we go! A nice clerk at Lowe’s asked me why I had dirt on my forehead, but perked up when I reminded her it was Ash Wednesday. As we are three days into our journey, I would ask that you pray for me, my family, and all the families within our school, and I in turn will pray for all of you. Have a warm and uplifting weekend! St. Charles Borromeo School students in grades 2-3-4-5 will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Monday, March 7, during the school day. Students in grades 6-7-8 will have an opportunity on Tuesday, March 15.
