Traffic cones will be set up and a person or two will be directing traffic.

Dear Parents and Students -  We needed rain and we received rain! Now we want some nice, cool fall weather. Have a great week and please take note of the early dismissal next Friday. You have some really great children. Thanks for choosing St. Charles. -Rob S.
Congratulations are in order for our grade 7 Volleyball Team as they defeated St. Joe Decatur in two sets to pull the upset and win the CYO Green League Championship. Well done for putting together an excellent season!
Kudos to our grade 8 Volleyball Team who lost a hard fought semi-final game vs. St. Elizabeth. Girls, you had a great run! It is always nice to have strong 8th grade leaders and the girls in this class, and especially on this team, really lead by example. Thank you.
A year of momentum for our grade 6 Volleyball Team as they too lost a tough semifinal game vs. St. Vincent’s. Overall the girls kept getting better and better, and we expect big things over the next two years!
Congratulations to our Varsity Cheer Team as they finished 3rd in the area-wide BD Cheer Invitational! The ladies still have a long way to go in the Cheer calendar, but a strong performance approaching the halfway point of the season. Keep it up Cards!
Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade Football Team CYO Champions as they avenged their only loss of the season by manhandling the Central Catholic Saints with a 20 point win. The game was over by half-time as the Cards jumped out to a 30-8 lead before the break. Great work on an excellent season.

1. COVID-19 Update:  We are still dealing with COVID-19/Delta, but we are trending in the right direction here at school and in the community. Sr. Genevieve, Mr. Hoersten, and I attended the Allen County Non-Public Schools Association panel discussion on Thursday morning and chatted with an official of the Allen County Department of Health. We were trending down as a county in cases, but have hit a bit of a plateau the past week or so. Nonetheless, officials are guardedly optimistic that we will have less restrictions by January 1st.  As the cold weather will soon begin to drive us indoors, please continue cleaning, wiping, distancing, and where needed, masking. We are getting there, and we are doing it together.
2. Out of Uniform Day on Friday, October 22nd! All may be out of uniform on Monday. Remember no ripped or torn clothing, gym shorts, sweatpants, yoga pants/leggings. Jeans and khaki pants or shorts. Modest, clean, & neat work. Thanks.
3. The HASA 300 Club is still accepting members! We have 120 signed up so far. That would make the odds of winning 1 in 120 each week. $100 provides 54 weekly opportunities to win! Become a member of the 300 Club! Buy one today! Read on!
4. Boys & Girls Basketball Tryouts for grades 5-8 begin next week! See the full schedule in this newsletter!
