Dear Parents and Students - I hope you are well! Fall is now officially upon us and as you felt early this morning, the temperatures will begin to be cool through most of the coming mornings. Please make sure your child has a fleece, jacket, or sweatshirt handy each day as the parking lot can be a cold and windy place before noon.
Also, you will notice that Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up in October. Parents will sign-up online using ‘SignUp Genius’ to schedule a conference time that hopefully fits around your schedule. Please read the details and timetable below as to when you can access and schedule for your children.
Finally, the month of October holds a special devotion towards our Mother, Mary. In addition to the praying of the Rosary, or simply a decade of the Rosary daily, I would encourage the following charism of the Green Scapular. Daily wearers of the Green Scapular are asked to recite the simple prayer once a day “Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”
The annual magazine sale has been extended to Wednesday, September 28. We have sold over $1,100 so far and are looking to get to our goal of $2,000. Proceeds support HASA. Families selling 3 or more orders will earn a dress down day. For new magazine orders or renewals: Go to the American Publishers Hearst website at https://www.funderworks.com/.
